What is a Green Roof?
There are three different categories of green roofs: Extensive, Intensive and Semi-Intensive.
Extensive Green Roof Systems: are the most common and low maintenance green roofs. They are between 3-4 inches of soil medium and can sustain drought tolerant and low growing plant species such as Sedum. Extensive green roofs can be planted in place or pre-grown.
