Plants
There are a variety of plant species that can be used on green roof applications: succulents, wild flowers, grasses, vegetables, and even small trees and shrubs. Each green roof is different and requires different plants depending on the weight capacity of the roof and the needs and desires of the client. Sedum species are a common choice for rooftop applications because they have high water-retention capability, can filter pollution, are non-invasive, hearty,low maintenance, and beautiful.
